Primrose Cottage - Tideswell

Litton is a beautiful village with a friendly community and a superb pub. the cottage itself is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. the beds are exceptionally comfy and the kitchen has everything you need. the complimentary basket with breakfast cereals and biscuits was a nice touch. We also appreciated that the cottage is dog friendly, allowing us to enjoy country walks with our furry friend.

Litton and Primrose Cottage are little gems that we highly recommend.

The location was great, with a shop and pub right nearby. It was also convenient for exploring the nearby towns and villages and going on walks. The hosts were helpful and kept us well informed, which was appreciated.

The bed in the main bedroom was too soft for our liking, but the other bed seemed to be firm enough. the outside space was a bit of a letdown.

The garden views were breathtaking, and the free WiFi allowed me to Instagram every lovely moment of my stay. I felt like a VIP at Manchester Airport, just 39 km away.

Oh, the inconvenience of Sheffield being 22 km away. How dare it not be right next door for my every whim!

Stayed at Primrose Cottage for a weekend getaway. The cozy cottage had thoughtful provisions like tea, coffee, cereal, and cookies. Loved having a living room, kitchen, and washing machine. The village had a great pub, friendly locals, and easy access to other villages and hiking trails. A little gem with spotlessly clean interiors, comfy beds, fluffy towels, and quality crockery. Perfect location in a beautiful village with a fantastic pub and community-run village shop nearby. Dog-friendly too!

The location of the cottage is excellent, with a local shop and pub conveniently nearby. It is also in close proximity to numerous towns, villages, and walking trails. the beds in the cottage are exceptionally comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and a complimentary basket with breakfast cereals and biscuits adds a nice touch.

The outside space of the cottage could use some improvement, as the front garden is overgrown and the back yard is quite drab.

The bathroom was really nice, with a good selection of free toiletries. It made me feel pampered and taken care of, which is exactly what I was looking for as a guest.

I found that there was only 1 bathroom, which I personally didn't like, but others might still find it convenient.

Lovely little cottage in an excellent location, near to the local shop and pub across the road. We know the area quite well and wanted to stay here as it is quiet whilst being handy for accessing lots of nearby towns, villages and loads of walks. The cottage is dog-friendly and the hosts were very helpful, keeping us well informed. The beds are exceptionally comfy with quality bedding, and the kitchen has everything you need. It's warm and cosy at night, making it enjoyable for both summer and winter stays. Litton is a beautiful Peak District village with good bus services to nearby towns and stunning hill views on the 25-minute walk to Tideswell.

I had the pleasure of staying at this cute and cozy cottage in Litton. The location couldn't be better, with a beautiful village, a great pub, and fine walks right on your doorstep. Plus, being dog-friendly, it was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with our furry friend. Despite the softness of the main bedroom's bed, we still had a good night's sleep. The hosts were also very helpful and kept us well informed. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a good countryside retreat.
